Free Download – Radiohead – Amnesiac

by admin on January 26, 2011

free music blog, Radiohead rapidshare megaupload megashare linksMore song-driven and acoustic than Kid A, Radiohead’s Amnesiac isn’t quite “Kid B,” but it is unquestionably cut from the same far-out cloth, as the band revels in fascinating quirks and abject nihilism. It’s also the first time in Radiohead’s career that a new record hasn’t meant a complete shift in artistic priorities. Surely, however, regardless of which was released first, they both deserve recognition; after all, Amnesiac, like Kid A, is an amazing piece of work. Only lightly augmented with electronics, songs like “You and Whose Army?” and “I Might Be Wrong” almost sound like they came from a typical five-piece rock band. You may even believe the band still employs a guitarist after hearing Jonny Greenwood’s wistful surf-guitar lead on “Knives Out” or his subtle but noticeable contributions to the anticapitalist rant “Dollars and Cents.” But inevitably, the band continually shifts gears, moving into Boards of Canada territory on “Like Spinning Plates” and delivering dark, bass-laden oddities like “Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors,” a fuzzed-out piece of avant-garde techno that could just as easily be on an Autechre or Aphex Twin record. The song’s half-sung, half-spoken vocal was laid down by either a heavily distorted Thom Yorke or, just perhaps, a loquacious microwave oven. Either way, the music always has momentum, regardless of whether propelled by man or appliance. Radiohead as a band understand how to make rock interesting again, and in the end, that’s all they set out to do when they recorded Amnesiac, as well as Kid A. It’s more than can be said for the bad frat-punk, teen-pop and soulless techno that currently rules the charts, and for that alone, Radiohead’s astonishing exploration of 21st-century anguish deserves credit.

Free Download – La Roux

by admin on January 22, 2011

The Free Music Blog, Bulletproof rar single, New Limewire, album artHighly anticipated 2009 debut album from Elly Jackson (AKA La Roux), who has everyone from Franz Ferdinand to Daft Punk hailing her as a talent to watch. This self-titled album is a kaleidoscope of emotions, touching on everything from heartbreak to disappointment to invincibility: all in true spine tingling La Roux measures that create an instant resonance. Ranging from the high crystal-clean falsettos of Fascination to the brooding lulls of ballad Cover My Eyes (that features London Community Gospel Choir), the breadth of the album and La Roux s diversity is clear. For Elly and co-producer/ writer Ben Langmaid, La Roux has never been about producing disposable dance floor fodder. Since meeting four years ago the talented duo s goal was clear – they wanted to bring classic songwriting back into the clubs and charts, and with this album they’ve accomplished that and far more.

best music blog, free album art, black kids rar mp3 downloadDebut album from the Florida group that Rolling Stone named “Artists to Watch” in 2008. Their first single. `I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You’ entered the UK Charts at #11. `Partie Traumatic’ was produced by former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler and is choc-full of equally effervescent pop songs just waiting to be heard. Judging by their live shows the song is an indie disco anthem in the making. A dash of disco, a dash or two of heartbreak and a rousing chorus, what else do you need? Sony. 2008.

Free Download – Coldplay – X&Y

by admin on January 12, 2011

Free music blog, Download Coldplay's albums for free, x and y songsThings have gone ridiculously well for Coldplay since 2002’s A Rush of Blood to the Head. The group’s global album sales have soared past the 10-million mark, putting it in the same stratosphere as megabands U2 and the Dave Matthews Band. People have offered up their bank accounts, cars, and even bodies for tickets to its shows. And, in a interesting twist, frontman Chris Martin married Gwyneth Paltrow and set the tabloid world aflame. Funny thing, then, that the British quartet’s much-anticipated third album, X&Y, is all about staying grounded. In the powerful opener, “Square One,” the singer insists people are fundamentally the same no matter what their stature: “You just want… Somebody listening to what you say,” he sings. On “Fix You,” Martin grapples with imperfection and missed opportunity: “When you love someone but it goes to waste… Could it be worse?” Meanwhile, the vibrant single, “Speed of Sound,” is all about reconnecting with the spirit and soul in the face of the paparazzi’s flashbulbs. Musically, the band has never sounded more adventurous, referencing everyone from Kraftwerk (“Talk”) to the Pogues (“Swallowed in the Sea”), all the while sweeping aside those Radiohead-lite comparisons to embrace a massive, moving sound that makes simplicity seem sublime.

Free Download – Starfucker – Jupiter

by admin on January 11, 2011

Free Music Blog, Starfucker Album Download, Starfucker linksStarfucker is the name of an indie-electronica band from Portland, Oregon formed in 2007, initially started as a solo project for Joshua Hodges.[1] Members include Joshua Hodges (vocals, keyboards, guitar, drums), Ryan Biornstad (guitar, keyboard, vocals, turntables), Shawn Glassford (bass, keyboards, drums), and Keil Corcoran (drums, keyboards, vocals). Hodges describes the band’s music as “dance music that you can actually listen to, that’s good pop songs, but also you can dance to it.”

Prior to forming Starfucker, Josh Hodges released a solo album “Sexton Blake” and followed up with an album released under the band name “Sexton Blake” entitled “Plays The Hits!”. Both albums were released on Expunged Records. Ryan Bjornstad also played with Josh Hodges in Sexton Blake, along with Ryan Dobrowski (now in Blind Pilot)

Starfucker’s song, “Rawnald Gregory Erickson the Second” (2008) was used in Target’s “Pink Pepto” commercial in 2009[2] created by the Portland ad agency Wieden+Kennedy and as selected as the AdWeek’s “Ad of the Day” on September 4, 2009.[3]

In the fall of 2009, they changed their name to “PYRAMID”[4] then “Pyramiddd”[5][6], finally reverting back to Starfucker in April 2010, although they may use the name STRFKR when touring.[7]

The band members will, in many cases, during performances, wear women’s clothing; this is done mostly by bass player Shawn Glassford, but sometimes done by the other members as well. This can also be seen in their music video for the song “German Love.” Although seemingly insignificant, this is one of the small issues that Starfucker is often scrutinized over. Along those same lines, Hodges says that they chose the name “Starfucker” just based on the curiosity of how far they could get “with a stupid name like that.”

In the late Summer 2010 Starfucker announced they would be signing with Polyvinyl Records, releasing a 2 song EP, with a full album in preparation for March 2011.

Free Download – Wilco – A Ghost is Born

by admin on January 6, 2011

Free Music Blog, Rapidshare Links For MusicThe infectious twang and pop hooks of Wilco’s former efforts may be fading fast, but A Ghost Is Born is still a rewarding effort that demands repeated listening. The group’s fifth album extends upon the experimentalism of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot with angular, blues-soaked guitar riffs (“At Least That’s What You Said,” “Hell Is Chrome”), a handful of sparse, yet catchy tunes (smack dab in the middle of the disc) that will surely keep college radio stations smiling, and a lengthy track that descends into mere static (“Less Than You Think”). Frontman Jeff Tweedy’s songwriting continues to evolve: “Hummingbird” is a dreamy Randy Newman-styled love song; “The Late Greats” is a sly ode to the world of pop tacked onto the end of the album (as if using such a fun song on this understated disc was an afterthought). Meanwhile, producer extraordinaire Jim O’Rourke manages to make the most complicated arrangements here sound minimalist and laid-back. All told, it’s another great addition to the Wilco canon.
